“Vibe coding” is a new way to build software without writing traditional code. Users describe what they want in plain language, and AI handles the structuring, design, and development.
This approach makes app creation accessible to non-technical users, removing the need to learn programming syntax.
Stockholm-based startup Lovable leads this trend.
Since its first product launch, Lovable has grown to over 500,000 users and $61 million in annual recurring revenue.
The platform claims to help create more than 25,000 new products daily.
Users simply type prompts, and the AI transforms them into functional apps.
CEO Anton Osika says about two-thirds of users have little or no coding experience but are now building digital products on their own.
With just 28 employees, Lovable is reportedly in talks to raise over $100 million from US investors, aiming for a valuation above $1.5 billion. 😲
People have already built real-world applications—like portfolio websites, event management tools, SEO analyzers, and map apps—in minutes or hours using vibe coding.
Here’s the thing: Vibe coding is awesome for rapid prototyping of ideas and smaller projects, but it doesn’t not suit complex or mission-critical systems for a bank or hospital, for example, due to code quality and security issues. At least not yet …

Alexandr Wang, 28-year-old founder of Scale AI and soon-to-be head of superintelligence at Meta, says he’s holding off on having kids until brain-computer chips like Neuralink are widely available.
The Promise of Brain-Computer Interfaces
Neuralink, developed by Elon Musk’s company, is designed to treat conditions like memory loss and paralysis, and to allow users to control technology with their minds. But that’s just the beginning.
The broader vision is to merge humans with machines, potentially unlocking superhuman cognition, memory, and communication. One day, brain chips could let us learn languages instantly, share thoughts directly, or boost brainpower far beyond natural limits.
Beating AI by Merging with It
Wang’s logic is based on the idea that AI is advancing faster than humans can biologically adapt. To keep up, he believes the next generation will need to integrate with technology from an early age.
If a child starts using brain tech young enough, Wang says, their brain could grow around it and develop abilities adults won’t be able to replicate.
Supporters see this as visionary. Critics worry about the risks to developing brains and the ethics of enhancing children without their consent.
